Xiaomi Mi Band and Mi Band Pulse have been successful in the Indian market and the latest band to join the league is Mi Band 2. This 2nd generation fitness tracker is available at a competitive price of ₹1,999/-. The fitness tracker was launched internationally in June and now has been made available in India. Let’s have a look at its features:
Display and Design
Mi Band 2 features a classy design and has a 0.42-inch OLED display. The display is scratch-resistant and is anti-fingerprint coated. The display shows you the time and below the display, there’s a button tapping which shows the heart rate. It is ultralight with just 7g and is comfortable to wear.
Activity Tracking and Alerts
The fitness band lets you track your steps, and how much you sleep. It can be worn almost all the time, ideal for both workouts and sleep tracking. One can conveniently connect it to the smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 LE. The device is compatible with Mi Fit app which is available on Android and iOS. The app allows one to manage alarms and send incoming calls and app alerts as well. You can also unlock your Android 5.0 or later devices instantly with the band when they are held close together. It shows you alerts from different apps as well such as WhatsApp and Facebook.
Water Resistant
The Mi Band 2 comes with an IP67 rating for water. It comes with a 70mAh battery with up to 20 days of standby.
