Amazon Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio Hit US Market

Amazon has announced new members in its Echo series of smart home speakers. The lineup now includes Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio. Here’s what we know so far about these new speakers unveiled by Amazon. Let’s check out the details:

Echo Dot Max

Echo Dot Max features a dual-driver design including a woofer and tweeter. It delivers clear voice output even in a chaotic environment, so you hear sound clearly. It runs on AZ3 series chip and has been optimized for lightning-fast wake-word detection.

One of the impressive features of Echo Dot Max is that it integrates speaker directly into the device housing which enhances the internal air space. According to the company, it can produce three times the bass of 5^th Gen Echo Dot.

Echo Studio

Echo Studio is a big-room speaker and has a powerful chip to handle your AI workloads and advanced audio tuning. It runs on the AZ3 Pro chip and supports AI models and even vision transformers.

Compared to Echo Dot Max, it has higher excursion woofer with three full range drivers. It is capable of providing spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support as well. Also, it is 40% smaller than the original Studio.

You can also pair both Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio together for a stereo surround sound experience. In addition to this, you can pair them with compatible Fire TV sticks for home theater experience at home.

Price and Availability

Echo Dot Max is priced at $99.99 and Echo Studio costs $219.99. They are available for purchase in US at Amazon and their India availability is yet not known.
