A new product by Amazon has been launched in the country called Echo Auto. Priced at ₹4,999/- ($9.99), it brings Alexa functionality to your car. It makes it easy to bring Alexa and all her skills when you are out of home as well. Let’s have a look at the features of Echo Auto:
Design
In terms of design, Echo Auto is a small rectangular box. It has Action button, Mute button and eight microphone holes on top. At one end, it includes micro USB port and 3.5mm auxiliary port. There’s a light strip on front that turns blue when you ask Alexa anything. The bottom has a square indent for attaching it to magnetic air vent mount. It comes with 3.5mm audio cable, 12-volt car adapter and a micro USB cable.
Features
Thanks to the eight-microphone array, it hears what you are saying over the sound of car’s engine and other background noises. Under the hood, Amazon Echo Auto is powered by Mediatek MT7697 processor and has a Bluetooth radio that connects to car’s audio system, phone and the Alexa app. You can ask Alexa anything and also stream from Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Gaana. You can also use it to control smart devices in your home while you are out on the road.
