Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi, has officially launched its much anticipated smartphone in India called Xiaomi Mi Max. The registration for the same is open from today at mi.com and the first sale will be on 6th July. It comes in two variants: one featuring 650 Snapdragon processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage priced at ₹14,999/- and the other comes with 652 Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Display and Processor
Xiaomi Mi Max flaunts a huge 6.44-inch display and features an all-metal body. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with full HD 1080p. The viewing angles are good and the phone feels comfortable to use. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 650/652 processor. The processor is paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/128GB of internal storage. The massive storage can be further expanded via microSD card.
Camera and Battery
Xiaomi Mi Max features an impressive 16MP rear camera on the rear which is capable of taking 4K video recording. At the front, it features a 5MP camera that can record up to 720p video. The rear camera comes with phase detection autofocus which works well in most lighting conditions. In terms of camera, the smartphone really excels at. The phone houses a large 4850mAh battery which the company claims to last for 14 hours on average.
The smartphone comes with accurate fingerprint recognition. It is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports 4G. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, and more. It includes sensors such as ambient light sensor, hall sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, infrared, gyroscope, and electronic compass.
