Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has been launched in India for the price of ₹16,999/-. The first sale goes on July 20 at Mi.com and Mi Home offline stores. The launch offers include Reliance Jio data providing additional 100GB 4G data. One gets up to 10GB additional data on every recharge of ₹309/- or above. It will go on sale via Amazon, Flipkart and Tata Cliq as well as offline retail stores from 10am IST from July 27. Let’s check out its features:
Display and Processor
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sports a 6.44-inch full HD display with resolution of 1080 * 920 pixels with pixel density of 342ppi. It comes with 2.5G curved glass and gorilla glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. It houses 64GB of storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 7.1.1 operating system.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 includes a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, dual-LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and real-time beautification options. It is backed by a big 5300mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and is rated to deliver up to 57 hours of talk time, 18 hours of video playback time and 31 days of standby time.
The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/A-GPS. The sensors on the phone are fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensor.
