The popular Chinese handset manufacturer Vivo unveils a new smartphone in India. Called as Vivo Y55s, it is priced at ₹12,490/- and comes in two colors: crown gold and space grey. It is an upgraded version of Vivo Y55L launched last year. It is available for purchase offline. Let’s have a look at features of this handset:
Display and Processor
Vivo Y55s flaunts a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 720 * 1280 pixels. It comes with a 2.5D curved edge screen. The smartphone comes with smart screen-split feature to use two apps simultaneously. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It houses 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 operating system.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, Vivo Y55s packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calling. It is backed by a 2730mAh non-removable battery.
Talking about the connectivity features, it comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G. It is a dual SIM smartphone that accepts micro-SIM. The sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and ambient light sensor.
