Sony has introduced an entry-level smartphone in the country with launch of Sony Xperia L2. It follows the familiar styling principles of previous offerings and surprisingly comes with a decent price tag. It is priced at ₹19,990/- and is available for purchase at Amazon. Though we have not tested the smartphone but it looks good on the paper. Here is the smartphone review of it:
Display and Processor
The dual-SIM smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 720 * 1280 pixels. The display comes with Image Enhance Technology and Gorilla Glass protection. Under the shell, it is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 3GB of RAM. It houses 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded further via microSD card up to 256GB. The quad-core processor along with good RAM ensures that the phone runs smoothly with multiple applications. It runs Android 7 nougat operating system.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, Sony Xperia L2 includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto focus, geo tagging, digital zoom, HDR, face detection and panorama mode. The front camera is capable of shooting sharp images with 8-megapixel sensor with 120-degree super wide angle lens. The camera app includes useful features like group selfie, regular portrait mode and portrait selfie. The handset is powered by 3300mAh battery. It comes with the useful Stamina mode to extend the battery backup. In addition, the Qnovo Adaptive charging helps to increase the speed of charging it.
The connectivity options of Sony Xperia L2 include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and fingerprint sensor. The sensors on board are ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor.
