A new wearable has made its debut in India and is called Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. It comes in two variants: 40mm and 44mm. While 40mm is priced at ₹23,999/-, the 44mm variant costs ₹26,999/-. They are available for pre-order at Amazon, Samsung official website and shipping starts from 10th September. These smart watches are launched with Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic which also comes in two variants. They are one of the best smartwatches available in the market today. Display and Processor
In terms of display, the 40mm variant flaunts a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with 396*396 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the 44mm variant has 1.4-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 450*450 pixels. Both variants come with Gorilla Glass DX+ protection for display. Samsung has used its Exynos W920 SoC for smartwatch and run on One UI Watch 3, based on new Wear OS. It has 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. According to the company, the watch gets a 20% faster CPU, 10 times faster GPU and 50% more RAM than the previous generation.
Health Monitoring Features
The smart watch comes with useful health tracking features such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation tracking and sleep analysis. In addition, there’s also electrocardiogram (ECG) support. It also takes care of your menstrual cycle data. Galaxy Watch 4 comes equipped with Samsung’s BioActive Sensor, the new 3-in-1 sensor using a single chip to run three health sensors. These are Optical Heart Rate Bioelectrical Impedance and Electrical Heart Analysis. The Body Composition measurement tool offers you an understanding of general health and fitness features.
Battery Life
According to the company, the watch can provide 40 hours of battery life on a single charge. It also supports fast charging and 30 minutes of charge offers up to 10 hours of battery. It utilizes the eSIM technology to make the wearable independent from the phone.
