Samsung is back in the mid-range segment smartphone with the launch of Galaxy On7 Prime. It has been priced at ₹12,990/- for 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant and ₹14,990/- for 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model. It is available for purchase exclusively at Amazon India. Though we have not tested the smartphone but it looks good on the paper. Here, we cover its important features in this smartphone review:
Display and Processor
Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD PLS TFT LCD display with resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixels and aspect ratio of 16:9. Under the shell, it is powered by 64-bit octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 SoC with eight cores clocked at 1.6GHz. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung Experience 8.5 UI on top.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with aperture of f/1.9 and autofocus. At the front, it has a 13-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture. It comes with a new Stickers feature, similar to the one in apps like Snapchat and Instagram. The cameras are capable of clicking good quality natural pictures. It is backed by 3300mAh battery which is non-removable.
The connectivity features of Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime include 4G VoLTE, 3G, USB OTG, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. The sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It includes Samsung Mall app, an all-in-one shopping platform for users. It also supports Samsung Pay Mini which integrates with online wallets and UPI.
