South Korean maker, Samsung, has launched latest mid-range smartphones in the country called Galaxy J4+ and J6+. These are available for purchase at Amazon India. Samsung Galaxy J4+ is priced at ₹10,990/- and comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is going to compete against the offerings of Xiaomi, Oppo, Honor, and Vivo in similar price range of ₹10,000/- to ₹20,000/-. Here are our first impressions about the smartphone:
Display and Processor
Samsung Galaxy J4+ sports a 6-inch HD+ Infinity Display with resolution of 720 * 1480 pixels and aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC along with 2GB of RAM. It houses 32GB of onboard storage which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. This latest android mobile runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, Samsung Galaxy J4+ includes a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with aperture of f/2.2. It is backed by 3300mAh battery.
The connectivity options of the handset cover 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GLONASS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth v4.2. The sensors include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. It comes with preloaded Google apps such as Gmail, Drive, Chrome and Play Music. It also has support for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive. Another highlight of this latest android mobile is the support for Widevine L1 DRM that offers content protection for HD video streaming services.
