Xiaomi has made a recognizable name in the industry in the wearable industry. It has now launched the first smart watch under the Redmi brand. It is called Redmi Watch and comes with an affordable price tag of ₹3,999/-. It is available for purchase at Flipkart and official website; and is all to set to compete against the likes of Realme Watch which comes with same price tag. Here are our first impressions about Redmi Watch in this gadget review:
Design and Display
Redmi Watch comes with 1.4-inch square display with screen resolution of 320 * 320 pixels. It comes equipped with more than 200 watch faces and weighs about 35 grams with strap. The watch features a stylish design and the strap is made of TPU material. It has 5ATM water resistance and thus, you can comfortably wear it during workouts.
Tracking Services
The smartwatch comes with several useful modes such as outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, treadmill, walking, running and swimming. Thanks to the built-in GPS, it allows you to track, walk and run without need to carry your phone around. It can track calories burnt, your speed and distance travelled. Redmi Watch comes with 24 * 7 PPG heart rate monitor and notifies you when heart rate goes above normal levels. Other features include guided breathing exercises.
Battery Life
Redmi Watch houses 230mAh battery and it takes about two hours to completely charge it. The smart watch claims to deliver up to 12 days of usage. In terms of sensors, Redmi Watch comes with 3-axis accelerometer, L-sensor, compass, barometer and gyroscope. The watch includes smart features such as call alerts, find my phones, weather report, stopwatch, flashlight, timer etc.
