Panasonic has expanded its P-series in India with the launch of P71 smartphone. It will come in two variants: 1GB RAM is priced at ₹7,490/- and the 2GB RAM variant will cost ₹8,190/-. It is available to purchase through retail stores in India.

Display and Processor
Panasonic P71 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 * 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB/2GB of RAM. The phone houses 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Camera and Battery
Panasonic P71 sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash. It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is backed by a 2,000mAh Li-Polymer battery with optimized power management software.
In terms of connectivity options, it supports dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi hotspo, A-GPS, FM and RDS. The sensors on Panasonic P71 include accelerometer, proximity and ambient light. The handset measures 143 * 71 * 8.15 mm and weighs 138 grams. It is available in two colors: Ivory Gold and Dim Gray Black.
