Panasonic has launched a new entry-level smartphone in the country for the starting price of ₹5,299/-. Called Panasonic P100, it is available for purchase at Flipkart. It comes in various color options of black, blue, dark grey and gold. Here, we take a look at its features in this smartphone review:
Display and Processor
Panasonic P100 flaunts a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 720 * 1280 pixels. The display is protected with 2.5D curved glass design and gorilla glass. Under the shell, it is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz. It houses 1 GB / 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card. The one with 1GB RAM is priced at ₹5,299/- and 2GB RAM variant costs ₹5,999/-. The handset runs Android Nougat operating system.
Camera and Battery
On the photography front, Panasonic P100 includes an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel sensor with selfie flash as well. The primary camera comes with f/2.2 aperture, panaroma, face beauty and HDR modes. The device is backed by 2200mAh battery. According to the company, it utilizes Duraspeed technology to save battery and data by optimizing the unused background apps.
The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and fingerprint sensor. The sensors on board are accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
