The much-awaited smartphone by OnePlus, 5T has finally been launched in India. It comes with powerful set of specifications and features. OnePlus 5T goes on sale at Amazon on 21st November exclusively for Prime members. The smartphone with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at ₹32,999/- while the one with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹37,999/-. Though we have not tested the phone fully but it does look quite impressive on paper. Let’s have a look at its features in this smartphone review:
Display and Processor
OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch full HD+ display with resolution of 1080 * 2160 pixels with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D corning gorilla glass 5 protection. It features thin bezels with large display to offer amazing user experience. Under the hood, it is powered by octa-core835 SoC clocked at up to 2.45GHz. It comes in two storage options that cannot be expanded further. It runs OxygenOS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
Camera and Battery
OnePlus 5T includes a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with 1.12-micron pixels and an aperture of f/1.7. The rear camera comes with dual-LED flash and can record 4K video at 30fps. The secondary camera has a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor with 1-micron pixel size. The cameras are optimized for superior low light photography. It is backed by big 3300mAh non removable battery and supports dash charge fast charging technology.
The connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO 2×2, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and GPS/A-GPS. The sensors on board are proximity sensor, RGB sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, accelerometer and digital compass. It also includes fingerprint sensor.
