HMD Global has launched Nokia 7.1 smartphone in India for the price of ₹19,999/-. It is now available for pre-order at Nokia online store and offline stores. It comes in gloss midnight blue and gloss steel color variants. Here are the details:
Display and Processor
Nokia 7.1 flaunts a 5.84-inch full HD+ notched display with resolution of 1080 * 2280 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. The PureDisplay panel is HDR10+ compliant and the panel has a dedicated chip from PixelWorks that allow for HDR10 support. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone has been launched with Android 8.1 Oreo and is likely to receive updated to Android 9.0 Pie soon.
Camera and Battery
In terms of imaging, Nokia 7.1 has ZEISS-enhanced dual lens camera at the back consisting of 12-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens. The company is also touting two-phase detection and Zeiss optics for the rear camera setup. At the front, it has an 8-megapixel fixed focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree field of view. The smartphone is backed by 3060mAh non removable battery with 18W fast charging, delivering 50% charge in 30 minutes.
The connectivity options of Nokia 7.1 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensors on board are gyroscope, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, and fingerprint sensor.
