Motorola’s first all-metal smartphone called Moto M has been launched in the Indian market. It comes in two variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at ₹15,999/- and ₹17,999/- respectively. The smartphone is available to purchase via Flipkart. Lenovo is also offering special launch offers which includes ₹1,000/- discount on Citibank and ₹2,000/- off on exchange of an old smartphone. Display and Processor
Moto M flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It houses 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
Camera and Battery
In terms of camera, Moto M has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The battery is rates at 3050mAh and supports fast charging as well. It comes with fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos support.
The connectivity features of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, 4G, VoLTE, USB Type-C and NFC. It is a dual SIM smartphone. It is also splash proof and thus, can bear light rain splashes.
