The popular domestic smartphone-maker, Micromax, has launched a new smartphone for the Indian market. Called as Micromax Unite 4 Plus, the smartphone comes packed with 12 regional languages in addition to features like hybrid keyboard, Indus swipe and App Bazaar. It also has text-to-speech support for 6 Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Telugu and Marathi. The smartphone is targeting towards Indian users who are not so much comfortable using the device in English. It is priced at ₹7,999/- and available for purchase at Amazon. Display and Processor
Canvas Unite 4 Plus comes with a 5-inch HD display having resolution of 720 * 1280 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone houses 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card.
Camera and Battery
In terms of camera, the smartphone features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery. Talking about the connectivity, it includes 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Micromax Unite 4 Plus also includes a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button.
