Reliance has added a new handset in its LYF flagship in India. Called as LYF F8, it is priced at ₹4,199/- and can be purchased from company’s retail outlets. The smartphone comes in two color variants: black and blue. Here are the complete details about it:
Display and Processor
LYF F8 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 chipset. It comes with Adreno 304 GPU and has 1GB of RAM. The phone houses 8GB of storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, the LYF F8 has an 8-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and auto focus. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video calling. It includes features such as red eye reduction, HDR support in video mode, blink detection, panorama and more to enhance the picture quality. The handset is backed by a 2,000mAh lithium-ion battery which the company claims to offer up to 160 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time on 4G network.
On the connectivity front, it includes dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, USB 2.0, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS. LYF F8 comes with USB on-the-go support to let you transfer media files effortlessly. An amazing feature of this smartphone is that it comes with “Swift gesture control.” This allows gesture control for camera app, music player and other apps from the lock screen of the phone.
