Reliance has launched a new smartphone in India called Lyf Earth 2. It is the most expensive handset in the Lyf series and is priced at ₹21,599/-. It comes in several color options such as Black, Green, White and Gold.
Display and Processor
Lyf Earth 2 comes with a 5-inch touchscreen display having resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixels at 445 ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1.1. The smartphone measures 142 * 67 * 7.2 and weighs 140 grams.
In terms of camera, it packs a 13-MP primary camera on the rear and a 13-MP front shooter for selfies. The rear camera comes with dual tone LED flash and a laser auto focus. The selfie camera comes with phase detection auto focus an LED flash and a Panorama mode to offer wider selfies. It features a unique voice-controlled camera to offer simplicity to the users.
The device comes equipped with VoLTE technology for a better 4G experience. It is backed by a 2,500mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone includes sensors that allow user to assign unique fingerprints so as to jumpstart any applications with a single tap. You can also encrypt pictures and videos stored in gallery and protect them from hackers. Users can also encrypt social media apps to safeguard personal data. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with support for 4G on both SIM slots. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and GPS.
