Reliance has recently launched Lyf Wind 2 smartphone, successor to the Wind 1. Priced at ₹8,299/-; it is the first smartphone in the Wind series to come with a 6-inch display in addition to metallic frame design. It also comes with VoLTE support and is 4G-enabled. To enhance the audio performance, it comes equipped with BesLoudness. Let’s have a look at its features:
Display and Processor
Lfy Wind 2 features a 6-inch HD IPS display having resolution of 720p and pixel density of 294ppi. It features curved glass finish and has a comfortable grip. The phablet is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek Soc paired with 2GB of RAM. In terms of internal storage, it includes 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs Android Lollipop operating system.
Camera and Battery
The Lyf Wind 2 smartphone features an 8MP primary shooter with LED flash. It also houses a 2MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. With Continuous Shot, one can click up to 99 images and capture each one with amazing clarity. It is backed by a 2850mAh non-removable battery. The company claims that the battery life has a standby time of about 190 hours, or up to 9 hours of talktime on 4G networks.
The connectivity options of this phablet include 4G, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, GPS, Bluetooth, micro-USB with OTG and more. You can use only one SIM card slot for 4G networks at a time. The sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It measures 157.5 * 81 * 8.5 mm and weighs 223 grams.
