Lenovo has launched its latest ThinkPad X1 Extreme laptop in the country for the starting price of ₹1,97,471/-. The base model comes with Core i5 chipset while the other two models are Core i7 models with 512GB and 1TB of SSD costing ₹2,04,479/- and ₹3,02,015/- respectively. Here are the details:
Display and Design
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme flaunts a 15.6-inch display having resolution of 3840 * 2160 pixels. It comes with an option of 4K UHD HDR touchscreen coupled with 400 nits brightness and Dolby Vision. There’s also a full HD non-touch screen variant that comes with 1920 * 1080 pixels, 300 nits brightness and 72% color gamut.
Under the hood, it is powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor. It comes loaded with 16GB of RAM and can be expanded up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. It is also backed by Intel UHD Graphics 630 with top variant having NVIDIA GeForce 1050 4GB GDDR5 graphics card. One can expand up to 2TB via 2SSDs for maximum storage. It runs Windows 10 Pro operating system.
In terms of battery life, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme offers up to 15 hours of battery life. It includes 4 cells, 80Wh battery and supports Rapid Charge Technology to deliver up to 12 hours of backup in just 60 minutes.
Keyboard and Connectivity
The laptop comes with spill-resistant keyboard with multi-touch glass touchpad. The keyboard is backlit with LED lighting. In terms of connectivity, it includes two USB 3.1 ports, 2 USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI 2.0, audio/mic combo, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4-in-1 SD card reader.
