LeEco, the popular Chinese company, has come up with new smartphones in India. These are called Le 2 and Le Max 2. The registrations for these phones open on June 20 on Flipkart and LeMall.com. The Le Max 2 will go on sale on June 28 and Le 2 will be available in July. Le 2 is priced at ₹11,999/-. Let’s have a close look at Le 2 smartphone:
Display and Processor
LeEco Le 2 flaunts a unibody metal design with a 5.5-inch full HD display. The display resolution is 1920*1080 pixels. One of the impressive changes of the smartphone is that the company has ditched 3.5mm audio jack and has opted for a USB Type-C Port. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with inbuilt storage of 32GB.
The LeEco Le 2 gets an image sensor with resolution of 16 MP. The rear camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. At the front, there’s an 8 MP selfie camera with 1.4μm large pixels. The phone features a fingerprint scanner placed below the rear camera which is capable of unlocking the screen as well as adding a layer of security.
Battery and Connectivity
LeEco Le 2 is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The connectivity options of the smartphone include dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. As far as the software is concerned, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under EUI 5.8.
