Huawei has launched three new smartphones for the Indian users: Honor 8, Honor 8 Smart and Holly 8. The newly announced Honor 8 is priced at ₹29,999/- and is available for purchase at Amazon India, Flipkart and Honor India official store. It comes in three attractive colors: Pearl White, Sapphire Blue and Sunrise Gold. Let’s have a look at its features:
Display and Processor
The smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch display sporting 2.5D glass protection on the front and back. The display has resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixels and has pixel density of 423ppi. It comes with a beautiful look and has beautiful rounded metal edges. At the back, it features a fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, Honor 8 is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone houses 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded further via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Camera and Battery
Camera is the most impressive feature of Honor 8. It has dual camera setup at the back of 12MP sensors. According to the company, one sensor records color information while the other one records in monochrome. You can also merge both images together. At the front, there’s an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and also supports panoramic shots. The handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which the company claims to offer up to 9 hours of online video streaming. It also supports fast charging.
Connectivity Features
The connectivity options of Honor 8 include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, and an infrared scanner. The sensors include accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and gyroscope.
