Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have been launched in India and are available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart. Pixel 2 64GB variant is priced at ₹61,000/- and 128GB variant costs ₹70,000/-. On the other hand, the Pixel 2 XL costs ₹73,000/- for 64GB and ₹82,000/- for the 128GB variant. Both are now available for pre-order. Here is the smartphone review:
Display and Processor
Google Pixel 2 flaunts a 5-inch full HD display with resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. The Pixel 2 XL features a 6-inch QHD+ display having resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9. Both come protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, they are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC along with 4GB of RAM. They run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Camera and Battery
In the camera department, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have 12.2-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and optical and electronic image stabilization. At the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. Pixel 2 is backed by 2700mAh battery while Pixel 2 XL houses 3520mAh battery. Both offer fast charging.
The connectivity features of the smartphones include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, NFC and GPS/A-GPS. There’s no 3.5mm headphone jack but includes 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter.
