This new fitness band comes with new health metric which is called Daily Readiness Score. Design and Display
The smart band packs a 1.04-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with always-on mode. There are no buttons on the band and the wearable comes with a silicone band. Fitbit Charge 5 offers a combination of aluminum, glass and resin. There are stainless steel rails on the sides that also work as sensors for ECG app and EDA sensors. It features 20 colorful watch faces to choose from. Also, it is swim-proof with water resistance up to 50 meters.
Health Monitoring Features
Fitbit Charge 5 is capable of offering 24 * 7 heart rate tracking and provides notifications based on the results. It also lets you track breathing rate, SpO2 or blood oxygen monitoring and skin temperature variation as well. The Daily Readiness Score feature is accessible only to Fitbit Premium users. Other features include 20 goal-setting exercise modes, automatic exercise recognition, sleep monitoring, real-time active zone minutes tracking etc.
