Asus has come up with a new smartphone called ZenFone Zoom S, dedicated to photography enthusiasts. It is priced at ₹26,999/- and is now available for purchase at Flipkart. The USP of the smartphone is the dual camera setup at the back. In addition, it also houses a big battery of 5000mAh. Here, we pay a close look at its features:
Display and Processor
Asus ZenFone Zoom S flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 2.5D corning gorilla glass 5 protection. It is powered by 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4GB of RAM. The phone houses 64GB of inbuilt storage and one can also expand it further via microSD card up to 2TB. It runs Android 6.0 and will be upgraded to Nougat.
Camera and Battery
On the photography front, Asus ZenFone Zoom S has 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 25mm wide-angle main lens and a 12-megapixel zoom camera with 2.3x true optical zoom and 12x of total zoom. It also features optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization for photos and 4K videos. The smartphone is backed by 5000mAh battery that is rated to deliver 42 days of standby time. The battery supports reverse charging as well.
The connectivity features of the smartphone 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG and 3G. It comes in two color options: glacier silver and navy black. The sensors on the phone are proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and ambient light sensor.
