The kickstand includes sturdy hinges to handle frequent angle adjustments. The device can be easily adjusted to any angle up to 165 degrees. The optional Acer Active Pen offers an intuitive writing and drawing experience.
The Switch Alpha runs Windows 10 and offers a decent experience. You may feel the lack of Android or iOS when used as a tablet. It utilizes Continuum with full PC functionality. The hybrid uses Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors. The hybrid provides ample storage with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD and also includes microSDXC slot. It comes with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR3 SDRAM.
The company claims that it is the world’s first for hybrids, Acer’s LiquidLoop cooling. This uses the liquid coolant so that internal components do not get too hot. It has no whining fan and has a fan-less heat pipe CPU cooling system called Acer LiquidLoop. The keyboard comes with optional backlighting and attaches magnetically to the tablet.
